Our Adventure / Adrenaline Tour itinerary offers a two-day adventure in the Royal Gorge region of Colorado, with the highlight being the Royal Gorge Via Ferrata, a new course for climbing enthusiasts. Trained mountain guides provide a practice climb before visitors can choose between a shorter or longer expedition through the gorge, with breathtaking scenic views of the Arkansas River and the high Royal Gorge Bridge. (For ages 10+)

DAY ONE

Day One begins with breakfast, followed by the Via Ferrata Adventure, which prioritizes safety using a cable system, followed by lunch in the Park. Visitors can also ride high-altitude rides and hike trails in the Royal Gorge Park. Dinner is at the 8-Mile Bar & Grill.

DAY TWO

Day Two starts with breakfast, followed by a rafting adventure with Raft Masters and lunch at the Whitewater Bar & Grill. Afterward, visitors can experience a zipline adventure with Royal Gorge Rafting and Ziplines. Raft Masters and Royal Gorge Rafting and Ziplines are experienced companies, and they provide top-quality service and essential gear to ensure visitors' comfort and safety during their rafting and zipline experiences.

Royal Gorge Via Ferrata

Experience the ultimate climbing adventure in Colorado with the Royal Gorge Via Ferrata, which is the newest Via Ferrata course in Southern Colorado. This guided climbing adventure takes visitors through the enormous granite walls using a cable system that prioritizes safety. The steel rungs and cables allow climbers to securely clip on and off as they ascend and traverse the rock walls.

Trained mountain guides provide a practice climb at the start of the Via Ferrata adventure at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. Guests can choose from a 2.5 to 3-hour shorter tour or a 4.5 to 5-hour longer expedition through the Royal Gorge. Additionally, you can book a private guided tour for your next Via Ferrata experience.

The Royal Gorge Via Ferrata also features a mini suspension bridge, a brief hike into the gorge, the roaring Arkansas River below, and the high Royal Gorge Bridge, providing guests with breathtaking scenic views found nowhere else in Southern Colorado. Suitable for both first-time and experienced rock climbers, the Royal Gorge Via Ferrata combines hiking and vertical climbing.

To participate in the Via Ferrata, guests must be 10 years or older, and the attraction operates based on weather conditions for safety purposes. The Via Ferrata is an additional paid feature, which includes general admission to the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park.
